Paris ↔ Parc Astérix prices by vehicle

The price is per car, not per person, and per one-way ride. It is the same in the morning on the way out and in the evening on the way back, at any hour, and it covers tolls and child seats. A family of five or six pays the van price, not five or six fares.

Distance and time

How long the drive takes

Parc Astérix lies 35 km north of Paris, measured from Porte de la Chapelle. The way there is the A1 motorway towards Lille, Parc Astérix exit between exits 7 and 8. The park quotes about 30 minutes by road from Porte de la Chapelle; from central Paris, the route planner gives 34.6 to 43 km and 45 to 50 minutes without traffic, checked on 19 October 2026.

Treat these as rough figures, not a promised journey time. If you want to be at the gates for opening, leave a margin on the departure time. The price stays the same if the drive takes longer.

A day at the park

There in the morning, back in the evening: how to book

  1. One request

Give us the Paris address, the time you want to leave in the morning and the time you want to come back. We price both rides together.

  2. The outward ride

The driver collects you, seats fitted, and drops you as close to the park entrance as possible.

  3. The day is yours

The driver does not stay on site: the price is for a ride, not for a day of waiting.

  4. The ride back

At the agreed time a driver meets you at the agreed spot, with 15 minutes' free waiting. Email us to bring the time forward or push it back.

A full-day package with waiting on site, like the one we offer for Disneyland, does not exist yet for Parc Astérix. For anything special (two stops, a hotel outside Paris), say so in the request and the fixed price will allow for it.

From the airport

From Paris-CDG to Parc Astérix without going into Paris

The park is close to Roissy: the route planner gives 13.8 to 16.3 km and 12 to 20 minutes without traffic between the airport and the park's village. If you land in the morning and want to head straight for the rides, or your hotel is near the airport, the direct ride is available on request: send your flight number, the number of travellers and bags, and our reply gives you a fixed price. It has no published price in our rate card yet, and we would rather not display a guess.

As on all our airport rides, the flight is tracked and the driver waits in arrivals with a name board, with 60 minutes' free waiting from landing. For arrivals at Roissy, see also our CDG ↔ Paris transfer.

An honest comparison

Official shuttle, RER or private driver?

There is no official shuttle from Paris itself: the park's shuttle leaves from Roissypôle at CDG airport, and from Paris the park refers to third-party coaches. Here is what the park's website said when we checked it on 19 October 2026.

OptionPublic priceWorth knowing
Park shuttle from CDG€8 one way, €14 return, per person; free under 3 Leaves from the Roissypôle bus station at CDG airport (bay A3), next to the "Aéroport Charles de Gaulle 1" RER station; a departure every 15 to 30 minutes, from one hour before opening to one hour after closing, on the park's opening days; service sometimes paused between 1 pm and 3:30 pm depending on crowds; journey of about 25 minutes; dated ticket to be booked the day before at the latest, with no changes, refunds or exchanges.
From Paris by public transportRER B airport ticket: €14 full fare, then the park shuttle Two legs and a change at the airport, with children and a day bag; fares add up per person.
Precelya private driver €139 (sedan) · €155 (7-seat van), per ride Price for the whole car, door to door, child seats fitted, same price in the evening.

Sources: Parc Astérix shuttle page (in French) and getting to the park, read on 19 October 2026; RER B ticket checked on 18 October 2026.

In practice: two adults without children staying near an RER B station will manage fine on public transport. Once the family reaches three or four, with a pushchair and tired children on the way home, a single price for the car, door to door, saves two changes and the wait for the evening shuttle.

Our price covers the car, not admission. Tickets are bought from the park; entry is free for children under 3.

With children

Child seats and the 7-seat van

In France a child travels in a suitable seat up to age 10. Give each child's age: the driver brings an infant carrier, child seat or booster and fits it before you set off, free of charge. Everything about children on board is on our family private driver page.

The van is a guaranteed Mercedes V-Class: 7 passengers and 7 bags, room for the pushchair, the day rucksack and the cousins. It is described on our 7-seat van with driver page. For the other big park, Disneyland has its own fixed-price rides: Paris ↔ Disneyland with a private driver.
