Terminal by terminal

Orly 1, 2, 3 and 4: four terminals on two sides

Orly sits about 14 km south of Paris, closer to the city than Charles de Gaulle. Since 2019 its four terminals have been numbered: Orly 1, 2 and 3 are grouped on the west side, Orly 4 is on the south side. The old names, Orly Sud and Orly Ouest, still turn up on tickets and maps; your flight number is all we need to know where to wait for you.

According to RATP, the terminals close overnight, between 00:30 and 03:30. For a very early flight, tell us your departure time and we will agree with you when to leave Paris.

Orly 1, Orly 2, Orly 3

West side, formerly Orly Ouest

The "Aéroport d'Orly" metro line 14 station is next to Orly 3; Orly 1 and Orly 2 are a walk away. The taxi rank for these three terminals is outside door 32a.

Orly 4

South side, formerly Orly Sud

Reached on foot from the line 14 station. Its taxi rank is outside door 48a.

For dropping someone off, Orly has four zones in front of the terminals, free for the first ten minutes. With a private driver, parking is part of the price.

On the day

From the Orly arrivals hall to your address

  1. Your request

Flight number, date, address in Paris, how many travellers and suitcases, children's ages: we reply with a price per vehicle.

  2. Flight tracking

We keep an eye on your flight: if it is late, the pick-up moves by itself, at no cost and with no phone call.

  3. Meeting at the terminal

Your driver waits in arrivals, board in hand. You have 60 minutes from touchdown for passport control and luggage.

  4. Drop-off in Paris

You are dropped at the address you gave, for the agreed amount, with no night or traffic surcharge.

An honest comparison

Metro line 14, Orlyval, taxi or private driver from Orly?

Orly has good public transport, and the cheapest choice is not always the easiest one. Here are the public prices we checked, with their dates, for the trip from Orly to central Paris.

OptionPublic priceWorth knowing
Metro line 14 €14 per person (Paris Région ↔ Airports ticket) About 25 minutes to the centre with no change; the ticket is valid for 2 hours including connections, and only exists on a Navigo Easy pass, a phone or a watch. You still have to reach your address from the station.
Orlyval + RER B €14 per person, same ticket An automated metro from every terminal to Antony station, then the RER B into Paris: one more change, with your suitcases.
Paris taxi Flat fare €36 Left Bank, €45 Right Bank Same flat fare at any hour; €7 more when booked in advance; €5.50 per passenger from the fifth.
Ride-hailing app (Uber) Published averages: €32 (UberX), €62 (Berline) One-month averages, not guaranteed: the final amount depends on demand when you order. Child seat not guaranteed.
Precelya private driver €95 (sedan) · €115 (7-seat van) A fixed price per car, given in advance; name board, flight tracking, 60 minutes of waiting and child seat included.

Taxi flat fares and ticket checked on 18 October 2026 (decree of 24 December 2025 on Paris taxi fares, Paris Région ↔ Airports ticket); Uber averages recorded on 12 October 2026.

What the figures say: travelling alone, metro line 14 is by far the cheapest. Two or three people heading for the Left Bank will pay noticeably less in a taxi than with us, and that is fine. Our price earns its keep elsewhere: a family who want child seats already fitted when they land, a group of five to seven who would not fit comfortably in one cab, or a traveller who wants to know the exact amount, book it, and find someone waiting at the exit.

With children

Landing at Orly with children

French law requires a suitable child restraint up to the age of 10. There is no need to bring your own: tell us each child's age, and the driver turns up with the right seat, infant carrier, child seat or booster, and fits it in the car. One seat or three, the price is the one in the table. The seats meet the current standard: approved seats, Isofix or booster depending on age.

Children under 10 ride in the back, apart from the exceptions in the French Highway Code. A pushchair, two suitcases and two children is the classic case where the van saves everyone from squeezing in. Our page on a family private driver in Paris covers child seats and travelling with children in more detail.

7-seat van

A V-Class van, and no other

Between Orly and Paris the van costs €115 for 7 passengers and 7 bags. It is a Mercedes V-Class, named when you book: in the offers we checked on 12 October 2026, the van was always sold as "V-Class or similar", with no guarantee of the model. The vehicle is described on our Paris 7-seater van with driver page.

Many families landing at Orly head straight for the parks: the Orly to Disneyland private transfer has its own fixed price. And if you are connecting with a flight out of Charles de Gaulle, allow about 90 minutes by road according to RATP: see the transfer between CDG and Orly.

To plan your arrival

Orly ↔ Paris transfer: frequently asked questions

What does a private driver cost between Orly and Paris?

€95 in an E-Class sedan for up to 3 passengers, €115 in a V-Class van for up to 7. The price includes taxes, covers the whole car, and stays the same whichever way you travel, to or from any Paris address.

Isn't the Orly taxi flat fare cheaper?

Yes, it is. The official flat fare is €36 to the Left Bank and €45 to the Right Bank, plus €7 if you book the cab in advance. For one or two people with light luggage, a taxi costs less. A private driver makes sense with children who need seats, with five or more travellers, or when you want someone waiting for you at the exit with your name on a board.

I land on a late-night flight: is there a surcharge?

No, the time of day plays no part in the price. Landing at midnight costs the same as landing at noon, and a delayed flight changes nothing: we follow the flight and the pick-up moves with it.

Do Orly Sud and Orly Ouest still exist?

No. Since 2019 Orly has had four numbered terminals: Orly 1, 2 and 3 on the west side and Orly 4 on the south side. If your ticket or an old map still mentions Orly Sud or Orly Ouest, just send us your flight number: that is all we need to know where you will land.

Where will the driver meet me at Orly?

In arrivals, as you come out: the driver is holding a board bearing your name. The 60 minutes of free waiting start at touchdown, which leaves time for passport control and baggage claim.

There are six of us, including two children: which car should we book?

The V-Class van: 7 passengers and 7 bags, for €115 in total. Child seats are supplied and fitted by the driver at no extra cost. The model is guaranteed: you travel in a V-Class, not in some other van.

Can we go straight from Orly to Disneyland or to CDG?

Yes. Both are separate trips with their own fixed price: Orly to Disneyland for families, and the connection between Orly and Charles de Gaulle, which RATP puts at about 90 minutes as a rule.

How late can I cancel?

Up to 24 hours before the pick-up time, free of charge.
