Guaranteed: the V-Class you book is the one that arrives
In every van offer we checked on 12 October 2026, the vehicle was sold as "V-Class or similar", Vito and Caravelle included. None of them guaranteed the model. The difference matters: on a single site, the gap between a Vito and a V-Class reached €69 for the same trip from CDG to Paris.
With us, the van is a Mercedes V-Class, and we do not replace it with another model. When you book for seven, you know in advance which vehicle will be waiting outside arrivals.
7 passengers, 7 bags: how to read these figures
A seat can hold one person only. A child in a child seat therefore takes one of the 7 seats, just like an adult: two adults and five children fill the van, each in their own seat. The E-Class sedan has 3.
Our price list counts 7 bags for the van. If you carry more, or something bulky such as a pushchair or sports equipment, put it in your request and we will tell you whether the van suits before we give you the price. Beyond 7 travellers two vehicles are needed; we then price each car separately.
Equipment on board the van: [VAN EQUIPMENT].
Child seats: fitted by the driver, at no extra cost
In France, children travel in a restraint suited to their age and size up to the age of 10. Give us each child's age in your request: the driver brings the right seat, infant carrier, child seat or booster, and fits it before you arrive. The price does not change: a suitable seat for each child named in your request, up to the number of seats in the vehicle. The seats we use meet the current standard: approved seats, Isofix or booster depending on age.
Children under 10 sit in the back, except in the cases set out in the French Highway Code. Our page on a private driver in Paris for families covers ages, seats and the trips families ask for most.

V-Class van: frequently asked questions
Is the van always a Mercedes V-Class?
Yes. When you book the van, the model is a Mercedes V-Class, and that is the vehicle that turns up. We do not swap it for another van of the same category. In every van offer we checked on 12 October 2026, the wording was the opposite: "V-Class or similar".
What is the capacity of the van, in passengers and bags?
Up to 7 passengers and 7 bags. A seat holds one person only, so a child in a child seat takes one of the 7 seats. For more than 7 travellers you need two vehicles: say so in your request and we price each car.
How much is the van between CDG and Paris, and does it cost more at night?
€125 including taxes for the whole van, between Roissy-CDG and an address in Paris, in either direction. It does not vary with the hour or with the number of travellers, whether one or seven. Between Orly and Paris the van is €115.
Are child seats included in the van?
Yes. Tell us each child's age when you ask for a price: the driver brings suitable seats and fits them, at no extra cost: a suitable seat for each child named in your request, up to the number of seats in the vehicle. In France a suitable child restraint is compulsory up to the age of 10.
What is the difference between a taxi van and a private-hire van?
A taxi may pick up a passenger who hails it in the street; a private-hire driver works only on advance booking. With us the van is therefore always booked ahead, with a fixed price confirmed before the ride rather than a meter.
Can I use the van for Disneyland or for a whole day?
Yes. Paris → Disneyland is €155 one way and the full-day return trip is €279. By the hour the van is €88 an hour, with a 3-hour minimum and 20 km an hour included.
Why does the van cost more than the sedan?
Because it carries 4 more people, with more luggage, for one driver. The difference stays modest: on CDG ↔ Paris, 19% more than the sedan.
Can I cancel a van booking?
Yes, free of charge up to 24 hours before the pick-up time.
