What a transfer between a station and your address costs

One price for the five stations listed, charged per car rather than per traveller. Train times, traffic and direction leave it untouched, and it includes parking outside the station and child seats.

The E-Class sedan takes three travellers; the van, seven. The S-Class is available on request. For Gare d'Austerlitz, or to go from a station to an airport, the price is quoted on request: use the price request form. Every price is on our private driver price list.

Included in the price

What the fixed price includes

  • Fixed price confirmed before the ride, unchanged at any hour
  • Age-appropriate child seat fitted by the driver, at no extra cost
  • 60 minutes of free waiting time at airports, 30 at railway stations, 15 elsewhere
  • Flight and train tracking: pick-up time follows any delay
  • Meet and greet with a name board
  • Tolls and parking included
  • Free cancellation up to 24 hours before pick-up

At a station, the driver waits 30 minutes free of charge, counted from the moment the train actually pulls in. A stop on the way or a second address can be built into the price if you mention it in your request.

Station by station

Paris's six main stations, and the trains that arrive there

Paris has six main SNCF stations. Each one faces a different part of France or Europe: where your train comes from tells you which station you will arrive at. Five of them are covered by our fixed price.

Gare du Nord

Fixed price · Eurostar

High-speed trains from northern France (Lille, Arras, Douai, Dunkirk, Valenciennes, Calais, Boulogne-sur-Mer, Lens) and Eurostar from London, Brussels, Amsterdam, Rotterdam, Düsseldorf and Cologne.

Gare de Lyon

Fixed price · 12th arrondissement

Trains from southern and south-eastern France, Spain, Italy and Switzerland. With over 30 million passengers a year, it is the second busiest station in Paris.

Gare de l'Est

Fixed price

Trains from eastern France, Germany and Luxembourg.

Gare Montparnasse

Fixed price · 15th arrondissement

Trains from western and south-western France.

Gare Saint-Lazare

Fixed price

Regional trains from Normandy, including Rouen, Cherbourg, Le Havre, Évreux, Deauville and Caen; metro lines 3, 12, 13 and 14 on site.

Gare d'Austerlitz

On request · 13th arrondissement, Left Bank

About 20 million passengers a year; trains from southern Île-de-France and other regions. Outside the fixed price on this page: ask us for a price.

Eurostar

Arriving from London, or leaving for it, at Gare du Nord

Eurostar quotes 2 hr 16 min from London to Paris. When the train pulls into Gare du Nord, your driver is already waiting with a board bearing your name; exact meeting point: [STATION MEETING POINT]. As with a flight, the train is tracked: if it runs late, the pick-up follows, and the 30 free minutes start from the actual arrival.

The other way, a departure for London needs a margin. Eurostar departures are in Hall 2, on the first floor, signposted with the UK flag. Passports are checked twice, by France and then by the UK, before a baggage security check; the ticket gates close 30 minutes before departure in Standard and Plus, and 15 minutes before in Premier. London trains leave from platforms 3 to 6. Since 12 October 2025 the EU Entry/Exit System has been coming in step by step for non-EU travellers heading to London.

For a direct train to Belgium, the Netherlands or Germany, Eurostar advises arriving 20 minutes ahead. Tell us the time and destination of your train and we will agree with you when the driver should collect you.

Sources: Eurostar's Gare du Nord page and Paris-London journey times, read on 18 October 2026. At Gare du Nord, the taxi rank ("Cour des Taxis") is at exit 7.

On the day

From the platform to your address, in four steps

  1. You write to us

Station, train number and time, address in Paris, travellers, suitcases, children's ages. You receive a fixed price per vehicle.

  2. The train is tracked

A delay moves the pick-up at no cost to you: no need to phone us from the carriage.

  3. Meeting at the station

Name board with the passenger's name; meeting point: [STATION MEETING POINT]. You have 30 free minutes after the train gets in.

  4. Drop-off

The driver leaves you at the agreed address, for the quoted price, by day or late in the evening.

An honest comparison

Metro, taxi or private driver when you leave the train?

Unlike the airports, the stations have no taxi flat fare: the fare decree only sets one between Paris and Charles de Gaulle or Orly. Here is what the official figures tell you.

OptionPublic priceWorth knowing
Metro or RER €2.55 per person (single ticket) Valid throughout Île-de-France except to the airports. The cheapest option, with stairs, corridors and changes to manage with your luggage.
Paris taxi Metered: pick-up charge of €4.48 at most, minimum fare €8 No flat fare from a station: the amount depends on distance and traffic. €4 or €7 extra if you book it; €5.50 per passenger from the fifth.
Precelya private driver €75 (sedan) · €90 (7-seat van) A fixed price per car, known in advance; name board, train tracking, 30 minutes of waiting and child seat included.

Fares checked on 18 October 2026: Paris taxi fare decree of 24 December 2025 and Île-de-France Mobilités 2026 fares.

For one traveller staying near a metro station, the metro is the obvious choice. For an address close to the station, a metered taxi may well come in under our fixed price, though you will not know until the end of the ride. A private driver starts to make sense when you arrive with plenty of luggage, as a group, with children, or when you want the amount settled before you even board the train.

Families and groups

Getting off the train with children and suitcases

Up to the age of 10, a child must travel in a suitable restraint. Give each child's age in your request: the driver brings an infant carrier, child seat or booster and fits it before you get in, at no extra cost. The seats meet the current standard: approved seats, Isofix or booster depending on age.

For four or more travellers, or a pushchair plus a pile of big cases, the V-Class van takes 7 passengers and 7 bags for €90. The model is guaranteed, whereas the van offers we checked on 12 October 2026 were all sold as "V-Class or similar". See our Paris 7-seater van with driver page.

Many families who arrive on the Eurostar head straight for the parks: the Gare du Nord to Disneyland private transfer has its own fixed price, as does the Paris ↔ Disneyland transfer from your hotel.

For the rest of your trip

Paris station transfer: frequently asked questions

What does a private driver cost from a Paris station to my hotel?

€75 for an E-Class sedan seating up to 3, €90 for a V-Class van seating up to 7, taxes included, for the car. The price covers Gare du Nord, Gare de Lyon, Gare de l'Est, Montparnasse or Saint-Lazare and any address in Paris, going either way.

My train is running late: what happens?

Nothing you need to do. We track the train and move the pick-up to its real arrival time. The 30 minutes of free waiting count from that arrival.

Does the price change if my train gets in late at night?

No. The price is the same at any hour, and a late train triggers no night surcharge.

I'm arriving from London on the Eurostar: is the price the same?

Yes. Eurostar trains from London arrive at Gare du Nord, one of the five stations in the fixed price: €75 by sedan, €90 by van, whatever time you get in.

What about Gare d'Austerlitz?

It is one of Paris's six main stations, but it is not part of the fixed price on this page. Ask us for a price through the form and we will reply with an amount per vehicle.

Can you drive me from the station straight to an airport?

Yes, on a quote. Give the station, the train time and the airport in the price request form, and we will send you a fixed price for that trip.

Five of us are travelling with suitcases: which car?

The V-Class van, which takes 7 passengers and 7 bags, for €90. The model is guaranteed when you book: a V-Class is what comes to collect you.

How late can I cancel a station transfer?

You can cancel at no cost until 24 hours before the pick-up.
