The price, trip by trip
Every price is for the whole vehicle, whether two of you travel or eight. The 8-seater van costs the V-Class van price plus €44 per trip or package: that extra pays for selecting a partner driver and an eight-seat vehicle.

By the hour, the 8-seater van is €88 an hour, the same hourly rate as the V-Class van, with a 3-hour minimum and 20 km an hour included. Once the free time is used up, each waiting hour is billed at the van rate. Other destinations: Paris private driver prices.

We would rather say it plainly. The V-Class van is a guaranteed model: book it, and a Mercedes V-Class turns up. The 8-seater van works differently: it is a Mercedes Vito Tourer or an equivalent van, driven by a partner driver we select. We guarantee 8 seats and room for 5 large suitcases and 3 small ones, not the model.
For a group of eight, what matters is that everyone gets into the same vehicle. If the model matters more to you, the 7-seater V-Class van is still available; above 7 travellers you then need a second car.
8 passengers, 5 large suitcases and 3 small ones: how to read these figures
A seat holds one person only, so the 8 seats count everyone: a baby in an infant carrier takes a seat, just as an adult does.
For luggage, our price list allows 5 large suitcases and 3 small ones, the size of a cabin bag. 8 travellers with a large suitcase each is therefore more than the van is planned for. List your luggage in your request, pushchair included, and we will tell you before pricing whether the vehicle works.
One car instead of two
Without an 8-seater van, a group of eight splits between a V-Class van and an E-Class sedan: two drivers, suitcases to share out, two arrivals to coordinate. With the 8-seater van, everyone rides together, and it costs less.

What a private driver changes, compared with a taxi or an app
A private driver gives his time to your ride: he takes no ride before yours, prepares and cleans the car, tracks your flight and stands at arrivals holding your name, then helps with the luggage. If the plane lands an hour late, he is still there; if the delay stretches on, he stays or we replace him. The driving is calm and safe. These commitments are written here in black and white; a metered ride or an app estimate carries none of them.
