Disneyland to Gare du Nord for your Eurostar: what time should we leave the hotel?
The short answer
For a Eurostar to London, Eurostar recommends reaching Paris Gare du Nord 75 to 90 minutes before departure in Standard and Plus. Between Chessy and the 10th arrondissement, the drive takes 50 min to 1 h 04 without traffic, with no tolls. Add the two together, then allow extra time for morning traffic.
Eurostar gives these times "for information only": the time on your ticket and the instructions that come with it are what count. The driving time is a route-planner estimate, not a guaranteed duration.

Counting back, with an example
Start from the train time and work backwards. Purely as an example, take a Eurostar to London at 10:13. The recommended 75 to 90 minutes put your arrival at the station between 8:43 and 8:58, so aim for 8:45. With the road from Chessy taking 50 min to 1 h 04 when it is clear, you would need to set off between 7:41 and 7:55.
On a weekday morning, the road into Paris is seldom clear. So build in a cushion: leaving the hotel at around 7:30 leaves room for a slowdown and for loading the suitcases.

In Premier, Eurostar advises arriving 45 to 60 minutes before departure: the same sum, worked with those figures, gives a later time to leave the hotel.
What happens between the station door and the platform
The recommended margin makes sense once you see what comes after the entrance. London departures are in Hall 2, on the first floor: follow the signs with the UK flag. Then come two passport checks, French and then British, followed by the baggage security check. Since 12 October 2025, the EU Entry/Exit System (EES) has been phased in for non-EU travellers heading to London.
Boarding is announced about 30 minutes before departure, from platforms 3 to 6. The gates close 30 minutes before departure in Standard and Plus, 15 minutes in Premier. We cannot tell you how long the checks will take on the day you travel, and nobody can promise it: that is exactly why the margin exists.

Private driver or RER A to Gare du Nord
With a private driver, the car collects you outside your hotel, whether a Disney Hotel or a partner hotel, at the time agreed with you the evening before. It drops you outside the station or at the Cour des Taxis, which is exit 7. The road from Chessy is toll-free, and the price is set before you leave, whatever the traffic.
By RER A, a free shuttle links the Disney Hotels (except Davy Crockett Ranch) and the partner hotels to Marne-la-Vallée Chessy station, itself a 2-minute walk from the parks. The RER A reaches Paris in about 35 minutes, according to Disneyland Paris, and then a change of line takes you to Gare du Nord. Every traveller needs their own Metro-Train-RER ticket (€2.55 in 2026), and you carry the suitcases up and down every staircase of the change.

With the car booked, the meeting time outside the hotel is known the evening before, and the seat suited to each child's age is fitted by the driver at no extra cost.
