A van with driver for wedding guests around Paris: how much for the evening?
The short answer
A guaranteed V-Class van with a private driver is booked by the hour: €88 an hour, 3 hours minimum, which makes €264 for 3 hours, €352 for 4 hours and €528 for 6 hours, 10% VAT included. There is no weekend or night surcharge: an hour costs the same on a Saturday in the small hours as on a Tuesday afternoon.

Three journeys your guests will need
Whether the couple or the best man and maid of honour are doing the planning, getting guests around can cover three journeys.
From the ceremony to the reception. Some guests come without a car, or would rather leave it at the hotel. The van collects them at the town hall or the church, drops them at the venue, then goes back for the next group if needed.
The ride home at the end of the night. This is where a van earns its keep: guests head back to their hotels in small groups, over several runs. One Paris-region provider suggests 2 to 3 shuttle runs, at 11 pm, 1 am and 2:30 am. With us, the departure times are the ones you choose, within the hours you book: an early run for families with children, a last one for whoever is still dancing.
Guests from further away. For an uncle landing at CDG the day before, or a cousin arriving by train, a fixed-price transfer suits better than an hour at your disposal: see the CDG to Paris transfer, the Orly to Paris transfer or the Paris train station transfers. The sums, next to published prices
Our amounts include VAT at 10%, the rate for passenger transport in France, shown on the invoice. The provider quoted also lists VAT-inclusive prices, but at 20% VAT on hire, and leaves tolls to the client; with us, tolls and parking are included.

What a private driver changes, compared with a taxi or an app
A private driver gives his time to your ride: he takes no ride before yours, prepares and cleans the car, tracks your flight and stands at arrivals holding your name, then helps with the luggage. If the plane lands an hour late, he is still there; if the delay stretches on, he stays or we replace him. The driving is calm and safe. These commitments are written here in black and white; a metered ride or an app estimate carries none of them.
For the price gap shown, you are buying peace of mind: a driver who has only you, a car that is ready, and nobody to look for on arrival.

How many vans for how many guests
The guaranteed V-Class van carries 7 guests per run; the 8-seat van carries 8, at the same hourly price, €88. For 14 to 16 guests at once, you need two vans. If your party is larger still, ask us: we will tell you plainly whether two vans running back and forth are enough, or whether another type of vehicle would serve you better.
For the couple's car or the parents', the E-Class sedan can also be booked by the hour, €72 an hour, on the same terms.
What the price does not include
The price covers the vehicle and the driver for the hours you book, nothing more. We provide no vehicle decorations and no drinks: we do not sell them.
Mileage beyond 20 km an hour. Each hour includes 20 km, so 80 km for 4 hours. A venue well outside Paris can use that up in a single round trip: give the address when you ask for a price, and the extra kilometres are priced into the fixed price we confirm.
Hours beyond the booking. The hours you book are the hours guaranteed. If the party runs late and the driver is able to stay, each extra hour is charged at the extra waiting rate, €88 for a van; it is better to book from the start a duration that covers the last run home. If the afternoon ride and the night-time runs are several hours apart, tell us that too: we will set out the arrangement and its price before anything is booked.
The youngest guests
In France, a suitable child restraint is mandatory from birth to age 10, and each seat may hold one person only: a child counts as a passenger in the van. Give each child's age when you ask for a price: the driver brings a suitable seat and fits it himself, at no extra cost. The first run of the evening can be kept for families, before the children fall asleep across two chairs.
If the date moves, cancellation is free up to 24 hours before pick-up.
